Message
This
is an exciting time for us all at the school.
Academic results are good, and improving.
We are refurbishing several curriculum areas
and have achieved our goal of becoming one
of the Government’s Specialist Performing
Arts Colleges. This will enable us to improve
still further by bringing over half a million
pounds worth of additional funding for our
work with partners in both education and
the wider community. What is special, though,
is that this is the ‘icing on the cake’.
Our recent successes in achieving the award
of ‘Investors in People’, our Barclay’s
‘New Futures’ Award, for serving the community,
together with our LEA and regional awards
for Learning Support confirm Prestwich Community
High School as an emerging ‘Flagship’ school
and one of which I am intensely proud.
