Performing Arts and Drama.
Performing Arts and Drama subjects are at the heart of the Arts Department, developing their performance skills in order to learn lines, ad lib, and behave professionally at all occasions. This is the grounding for future performers, and this hub of activity is where actors and actresses are made! Infact, one of our pupils in particular is now a professional dancer at the Northern School of Royal Ballet!
The world really is an oyster for our pupils!
The expectations and achievements are exceedingly high so much so last years pupils from the Applied Performing Arts GCSE class received the top 5 highest grades in the country. And there was a 100% pass rate A*-C in Drama with 68% of pupils gaining A*/A Grade! Need we say anymore!
